just looking for some reassurance on this. Two new cats brought home yesterday. 6 month old brothers who are just gorgeous 😍. They’ve been using the litter tray for wees (no poos yet), not eating a great deal and have hidden away the whole time and seem super stressed. I know this is all normal but I’m already worrying. At what stage should my worry ramp up? I’m an experienced cat owner but never adopted cats of this age before (last set were kittens who were hard work in their own way, but instantly bonded with us). Am putting down all their fav foods (and close to them in their hiding place under the dresser). Have also made a den out of a large cardboard box, with comfy bed, been to visit them lots during the day to talk to them and reassure. Anything I’m missing? Thanks!

You are doing well. Mine is still settling in and it's been 3 weeks and she still hides.

You've forgotten the tax. It's litter tray law that you must post pictures!

It took one of mine three months to even start to come out of hiding - be patient!

I can possibly show butt end/tail pics cos that’s all I can see right now 🤪🤣

Thanks all for the reassurance. They came out of hiding last night and had a good explore. They’re eating, drinking and toileting fine so all they need now is time 😍
