This is your new boy that you got last week ?

Has he been scratching ? Are they just in the outside or are they in his ears too ?

Could they be old scars where he's been in a fight ?
I know he
s settled well but stress shows itself in different ways in animals .

Our boy ( also a handsome black cat) had an odd little bald spot on his bach between his shoulderblades . No wound , didn't look like a bite , he couldn't reach it himself .
No allergies to his flea drops . No lump just smooth
Vet said keep an eye on it and its covered over now with fur .

If its itchy then I'd worry about fungal or ringworm . He'd have been de-flead when you got him.

Have you noticed your cat scratching round his ears? It looks like the bare patches my cat gets when he’s irritated by harvest mites. Scabs develop and when they scratch them off, it leaves a bare patch for a while. The vet can give you something to apply topically and maybe a steroid injection to stop the itching.

Hello, yes this is my wee newbie. He hasn't been scratching so I'm not sure, will give the vet a wee buzz
