Itchy cat won’t stop scratching HELP

I posted here before about my cat throwing up the largest hairball I’ve ever seen. The vet gave us flea treatment. She hasn’t thrown up again since the giant hairball. She had lost weight so they were bothered about that but not really. She’s an indoor cat. They couldn’t find any fleas but made me do flea treatment anyway. I have been back but they just say she has ‘dry sensitive skin’.

My cat seems to be itchier than ever now. We are all losing our minds with her constant day and night itching. Scratching and licking herself every 2 mins. I had to take her collar and tag off because she scratches so much it is noisy and keeps us awake. Even with our doors closed at night she is just scratching with her back foot on her neck and it was jingle jangle all night with the tag. She’s also now scabby. if she’s on your bed she’s moving around itching and scratching. So she’s banned from our rooms at night.

How can I help this cat? what could this be? Has anyone ever had this? She’s a 10yo indoor cat. I feel bad for her. Nothing has changed, same food, same everything.

Hi OP, try looking at the Anicura website, we've had success using the gel on several of our cats that are really allergic to flea bites despite being regularly treated! Definitely worth trying, good luck as I know how upsetting it can be to see your cat distressed and feel like you're not getting anywhere with helping them 😞
