Angus and Little Cat

I've posted before about my cat Angus who is desperate to be friends with a feisty little cat I took on a few years ago. She used to terrify my gingers before she lived with us but now they co-habit pretty well as long as the gingers make sure they give her personal space. If not she will swipe them.

Tonight my mum came round who Little Cat loves so Little Cat immediately sat next to my mum on the sofa. Angus decided to try his luck and jumped up on the sofa next to Little Cat sensing she was distracted by my mum.

DH managed to take this photo. Little Cat's face is a picture! She didn't bop him or run away and they did sit like that for about 15 minutes but she was clearly not impressed. 10/10 for persistence Angus!

Aw, Angus and his crush!

How can anyone resist the charms of a lovely, fluffy ginger boy?

OnAFrolicOfMyOwn · 25/09/2023 08:10

😂her face!

Toddlerteaplease · 25/09/2023 08:16

Aww poor Angus!

Ellmau · 25/09/2023 08:33

Angus looks lovely.

Little Cat looks outraged by the nerve!

StBrides · 25/09/2023 08:34

That is so cute

FormerlyPathologicallyHappy · 25/09/2023 11:16

Poor little Angus he’s trying so hard.

Pudmyboy · 25/09/2023 20:10

Oh bless Angus! Sadly from the look on Little Cat's face I don't think his affection will be returned any time soon!😍

TemporaryCatSlave · 25/09/2023 20:21

I just startled TempCat with an unexpectedly loud cackle at the look at Little Cat's face. Absolutey classic WTF!" expression. Poor Angus.

Icequeen01 · 25/09/2023 21:16

He really doesn’t give up trying bless him. I was so worried he was going to try and groom her (which he loves to do to the neighbour’s cat and his brother). I think she would have taken his eyes out!

That's lovely. Our cat who adopted us as a kitten was called Little Cat too!

Mum was too embarrassed to tell the vet, so said her name was Corky 🤣😭

Funnily enough Little Cat isn't her real name but that's what she is always called as it suits her better. I've owned cats for nearly 40 years and she is the most kitten like 14/15 year old cat I have ever seen but also the most feisty.

Corky! That really made me laugh.

Love the photo of Angus and Little Cat. It's like he's saying in a bumbling voice. 'Don't mind me. Just resting...head down. Not here for any special reason. Oh no.'

Lovely!
