Cat shuffling in closer

I'm still in bed with boy cat in the crook of my arm. Every so often he shuffles in to get closer. There's no better feeling is there? He's also done a little sigh which I know means he's not planning on moving any time soon!

My two go in for being on top of me. So, side sleeping with several kilos of cat planted on my ribs, hips or thighs! Or if I’m on my back trying to read, one or other will be in my face, which does make reading slightly difficult … 😆

Oh boy cat does try and lie round my neck at times but he's a giant and it just doesn't work. He gives it a good bash though. His sister is a tiny wee thing who fits perfectly there.

Oh yes, when they drape themselves across your neck! makes strangled noises

Oh @Plump82 it's the best feeling! My boy doesn't cuddle close but does sleep next to me on the sofa and presses his paws against me while asleep: still don't know if he is being affectionate or trying to push me away! (Choose to believe it's affection!)

That's definitely perfection. Boy cat also puts his wee paw gently on my face as he loves getting his wee toes kissed! I'm sure I read it was a sign you were their human!

Gawd I love their little paws, such a soft touch, just melts my heart!

I have a heated blanket which boy cat loves. Nieces are desperate for the cats to sit in their knee. They were using my blanket the other night and finally got a cat to sit on them. Didn't have the heart to tell them he was sitting on the blanket, not their knee!

😂 it's definitely the blanket alright.They will sit anywhere for a bit of heat.

Girl cat is an anomaly. Never sits in the sun, or the heated blanket.

Yeah round my neck most of the time. Or hanging off my arm. She chooses the most uncomfortable positions! She'll be getting her heat from me!

She sounds like my two! When I'm in bed they're always on me and sometimes hanging onto my arm, or sitting on my shoulder.
