Cat carrier on wheels/backpack

The vet surgery is about a mile away from my house, with a ridiculous, tiny car park where you get blocked in frequently, and no on street parking.

I'd like to be able to walk to the vet, can anyone recommend a cat carrier on wheels or a backpack one? My cat is dainty and light, but my rigid plastic carrier is awkward to walk with.

Hopeful bump

I would avoid a backpack. A friend's cat had diarrhoea on the way back from the vets and they both got covered...

Could you use a small festival trolley with your cat carrier in it? There are others that look like prams but I can’t recommend a specific one and I would be concerned that my cats might spook and claw their way out.

Don't know how good they are but my daughter bought a pet stroller from amazon. I think it was around £45. She likes it and it is big enough for her 2 cats. Unfortunately I don't know the make. Paw pram/ pet pram or something like that.

Yes, I'd rather not have a backpack!

That's a good idea, I'll look into it. I did think the ones that are fabric might not be resistant enough to a determined cat!

I have an Ibiyaya that works well for me. The only design flaw is that the Velcro straps could be longer. But otherwise it’s a dream I have the 5 in one stroller.

I use my child's old stroller and have a cat carrier that fits into it perfectly
