Best cat litter?

I've been using non clumping cat san for my 12 week old kitten, I'm finding a 20l bag is not lasting long at all! I get poos out as soon as she does then but of course the urine doesn't clump so can't be removed. After 2/3 days it stinks the whole house out so I'm changing it so often, but a 20l bag is around £15! Not cheap. Any other recommendations or anything else more cost effective? Thank you 😊

I've started using Tesco's own make (£2.19). I just pick out the poo everyday and change the litter every other day. It seems to work fine

I used to use the sivocat blue signal one. I think it's around £10 from PAH. It clumps really well. I've used asda and Tescos clumping litters before but this one beats them both by miles

Are you using Felight cat litter freshener when the kitten has done a wee? It's really good for removing smells

Catsan is awful for smells
Don't think clay litter is advised for young kittens so you could try eco clumping like worlds best or cats best

We use the sanicat silica granules, take the poos out as and when but we can get 3 weeks out of this litter with no urine smell at all.

I like Natusan, not cheap but my two use the same tray and there are no smells. One bag lasts a month, it clumps really well and I just scoop out the wees.

They do go out though so not it's not used twice a day.

We have changed to "The World's Best" cat litter, made from a corn by product.
It clumps perfectly and contains odours. We do scoop pretty much straight away and do a full change and scrub every 3 days, but it is so much better than the non clumping Catsan.
