Hi, how do I insure a rescue cat. I don't know age, just an approx but different vets and the rescue have aged different and also I don't know her past medical history. She us approx 9 years old. Vet when did jabs said looked very healthy.
What do I put on insurance applications?
Thank you

Ring them up and explain. If you don't know of any pre existing medical conditions then that's ok. I just made a date of birth up for my cats. As I knew their age. But it didn't give an option to put unknown date.

Just go with the best estimate of age and say no knowledge of any pre-existing conditions. I've had 2 ferals and a stray & that's all I needed to do for them.

Just put your best guess.

Make sure the age recorded at the vets is the same as the insurance!

Just rang the vets and they have her down as 1 year old! That was when she was rescued not her age.
