Does he think I'm his mum

I got a new kitten he is 9 weeks, he is soooo affectionate and sweet and playful. He does this thing when he circles my neck for a while rubbing his body on me lol then he settles at the back of my neck and starts kneading and suckling my hairband or hair 🤣 I was wondering half seriously does he see me as his mum?! Is it a comfort thing , he does it a couple of times a day for about 5 minutes then has a nap curled around my shoulder, I didn't know if it was reminding him of nursing with his mum and even should I stop it?!

It means he's really happy. And yes probably does think you are his mum. Get him used to having his claws clipped by you now. It is extremely painful if they have murder mitts. My cat does this on my face at 3am! She's 12!

Ps. We must have a pic, it's the litter tray law.

Oh he is cute. Is one of his ears smaller than the other?

He's a beauty!

My old neighbour when I was a teenager somehow acquired a cat who had some feral tendencies. However he regularly used to lie on my chest, his head under my chin and suck at the neckline of my t shirt and fall asleep. I loved it

He's so cute!!! I adopted my girls as adults and when I see kitten pics I wish I'd adopted a kitten.

Then remember how crazy my tortie is as an adult and realised I wouldn't have survived her kittenhood.

His ears are the same size so must be the angle! I'm just looking at insurance quotes, is there any tips? I'm not sure what level to go for

Go for lifetime, and the maximum cover you can afford. My late sisters ran up bills of £24k. Tesco were excellent.

I've had Petplan and Waggle and both were great.

We got 9 week old kitten brothers and whilst it's the best thing we ever did ever now and again I need to remind myself of the carnage that unfolded 😂

What a sweetie!

Aww he’s a beautiful boy.

I think they see us as dolts who need a lot of prompting to perform basic daily living activities such as feeding them, opening doors, giving treats.
