Getting rid of wee smell

Friend who was feeding cat while we were away shut him in the living room accidentally and he did a big wee on the floor. Neighbour popped in next day and found cat and wee and cleaned it up. We are back a few days later and it absolutely reeks.

What's the best way to get the smell out? And the best way to find out if he's weed anywhere else in the room? Last time this happened it took months to get the smell out and I can't bear the thought of smelling the wee every day.

Shampoo with enzyme pet carpet cleaner. Can get a special torch to show where wee is. Think I got my torch on Amazon.
If you don’t clean it properly they may continue to wee there.
