Has anyone got a, outside litter tray?

Or just got rid of the tray altogether?

Dc1 doesn't use a tray so I got rid of it when old dc passed away. Got ut out again when dc2 turned up as she had to stay in until spayed and healthy. (Stray/rescue)

She went through a phase of not using it, but is using again now. It's been REALLY messy with litter everywhere abd I've just realised dc1 is ambushing her when she's in the tray 😳

We live rurally, and the cats do poop in an area of the garden so I'm wondering whether to get rid and hope dc2 goes outside, or get an outside tray.

I do have a big planter outside that is an outside litter tray, but I won’t get rid of the indoor one altogether.

Thankfully mine have stopped pooping in my pots. I've seen actual enclosed trays for outside.

I've been considering getting an outside litter tray as one of mine poos on the grass like a psychopath, sometimes while maintaining eye contact with me!

I'd be very interested if anyone has anything that works outside? I don't mind scooping daily but don't want a litter tray indoors.

My kitties now have three outside toilets

I was persuaded that an outside litter tray in the catio would be a good idea. Ha. One of mine has refused to poo in the litter tray since she was born. Long story - I've tried so many different things in the tray but she won't. Just wees. Anyway, this blooming outside litter tray that cost a far bit because, you know, special with a waterproof lid, just became another target for her to poo outside. So we had poo on the floor in the catio for me to clear up as well. So yes, I've an ex outside litter tray.
