Back from a second visit to the vet with a wound on the front of my cats neck that won’t heal.
I think the problem is that where it is, he can’t lick it, so he is scratching at it and it keeps opening up.
i don’t think a protective collar would work as it would probably sit either right on the wound or above it, probably the same with those new body suits I’ve seen being put on cats to protect wounds.
the vet suggested a bandana type collar.
he’s an outdoor cat which is also making it tricky.
just wondering if anyone has any other recommendations?
