Realistically speaking... how much does your cat really eat?

So my darling two year old cat can scarf down 4 wet food pouches a day and stay as trim as ever.

My not so cat lover mother quoted I'm overfeeding her.

If i reduce her food she will protect with wails, batting of my face and a thousand mile stare with such power I feel she's in my mind!

Big floofy boy cat who is an 8kg eating, trilling and playing machine but that's within normal weight range for Maine Coon.

One pouch of wet food I force down him because I don't want him to just eat dry
Dry food down most of the day
He's a big lad, about 6kg but not fat

Cat tax

I have a small female princess. She has 2 pouches a day split into 4 meals because she pukes if she eats a full pouch in one go. Plus the odd few dreamies and cat chews.
