Who knew that's why they did that?

Just discovered that cats knock things off tables as they are looking for prey. They aren't being annoying after all. Maybe there's a bird under that book/vase/glass of water....

I've heard it's because they lack impulse control... much like a toddler 😂

cinnamonfrenchtoast · 13/08/2023 18:09

Nah, it's because they're scientists and learning about gravity Grin

CatherinedeBourgh · 13/08/2023 18:11

Nah, they do it because they can get away with it. They are evil, and everything they do is to make our lives as miserable as possible.

Says who? No one can read a cat’s mind.

My cat knocks a cup over to get attention if she’s feeling ignored.

My kitten knocks it over because she likes playing in the puddle.

I can absolutely guarantee that neither my cat nor my kitten think there is any chance that there is prey under the cup.

My cat only ever does it if we're more than a minute late with his dinner!

SuperCallieFragilistic · 17/08/2023 14:45

Pretty sure mine just does it for funsies

Knackerelli · 20/08/2023 12:03

My cat definitely does it so I get up and feed him! He watches me while he does it 😂
