Handheld vacuum cleaner

Can anyone recommend one that will deal with fluffy cat hair on stairs?

I have a carpet scraper. I use it before I vacuum.

Another vote for a carpet scraper! Fabulous on cat trees too.

I'm afraid I still use a stiff hand brush on the stairs carpet. Slightly harder work, but a) it gets it off well and b) think of the calories burned!

I've got a rubber brunch to do this too. I was being lazy and thought if I had a hoover id do it more often!
