We were definitely not getting another kitten

One of our cats had to be put to sleep a few weeks ago, daughter has been on a mission to get another kitten since. Husband very reluctant as he was with our cat when he was pts and even though it was peaceful he is still a bit upset so said absolutely not.
We went to view a kitten that is related to our Maine coon and we have all fallen absolutely in love with him, so in a few weeks he'll be coming home with us 😀

So sorry about your cat. It's always heart breaking.

Your new addition looks absolutely adorable and I'm sure will be very loved!!

Toddlerteaplease · 08/08/2023 22:35

It's the worst, but a new addition will really help.

Our much loved 19 year old had to be pts at the end of May, I said no cats ever again. Shockingly quickly we brought home two beautiful rescue kittens, they really do help. Sorry for your loss.

I’m sorry for the loss of your original furry companion, however I think this is completely usual. My husband still reminds me every time our two year old cat does anything he shouldn’t that I vowed and declared I was never going to have another cat when our previous fuzz was pts . A few weeks we lost her after I was searching and 4 months later our new kitten came home with us.

I think the gap they leave is just too big not to be filled.

Love the furry ears!

And young lady, why were you viewing kittens when you weren't getting one?

He's gorgeous!! Any thoughts if a name yet?

any chance of a photo of 'Uncle'??

We were viewing kitten as I knew once husband saw him he'd fall in love and not be able to say no, he's going to be called Maximus or Max for short
