Welcome Sonny - a kitten appreciation thread

Some of you may remember I lost my beautiful Ginger 8 weeks ago.
He was killed by an electric van and the house has been so quiet, I've missed him & the other animals have really missed him in different ways.

I've made friends with the local lad who had posted on the town FB page at the time. His friends cat had 4 kittens, in the day Ginger was killed. 2 who were Ginger girls, 2 g&w boys and I was set on taking on boy.

He was really shy on the day I went to the house & Sonny was being a sassy minx, letting me stroke her belly and so being cute!!

I put the cat carrier in the living room, she went over sniffing it, the guy said, she won't go in there, I said if she does, she's coming home with me....

And, here she is........

We're back at the vets in 2 weeks so I'll ask him to check!!

She does not like the dog, at all so I'm going slowly slowly with them.

I'm a bit worried about the youngest boy, she came into my room for a few mins this morning, he ran out, hissed and then went out into the rain and hasn't been back all day, his usual routine is on my bed ALL day before heading down for some food & an outing about 6pm.

The little bugger has just strolled in, piss wet through!

She is absolutely gorgeous! I have a ginger kitten too, they're the best.

She is sooo beautiful. I had a ginger female as child and since had people tell me how rare she was. Ginger cats are awesome.

OP, I was sold my ginger as a girl, I posted a thread on here, I checked the next day and she was very much a he 😊

Sonny is utterly adorable, whatever gender!

Isn’t he a bit snack-sized to be outdoors yet? I didn’t let ours out till he was 6 months old.

@FormerlyPathologicallyHappy Sonny hasn't been out, it was the "old" baby, now the middle child 🤣

I thought you all might like a little update on Sonny, she's been here nearly 3 weeks now and has settled right in.

The 2 big cats are still not keen but I'm hoping the copious amounts of cat nip & feliways I've got plugged in help with settling them down.

Her & doggo chops are getting on like a house on fire, wrestling away, cuddling in the bed and generally being cute.

I am having to put the dog on his lead when he gets too chasey with her, he chills right out and she goes back for more.

Gorgeous. That tummy. So soft.

She has similar markings to our little Simba 🥰

She's a girl!! Had it reconfirmed at the vet today and she's gone from .9kg - 1.49kg in nearly 4 weeks.
