What is it about David Attenborough’s voice?

The cat is laid dozing to me like she usually is. I’ve got the tv on in the background. Saw a video on fb I wanted to watch so I paused the TV and clicked on the video. As soon as David’s voice started, the cats head shot up and she watched the video with me completely entranced. Went back to sleep when it was finished..

Cheddar does this. But I don't watch it often as I find nature programs very boring!

My dog does the same so it’s not just cats!

My cats are the same. As soon as he comes on they are right in front of the TV.

How weird. I wonder if there is something in the wavelength that they can hear that we can’t. I mean I know David’s voice is really soothing and hypnotic at times, but I wouldn’t have thought an animal would care.

I'm not sure but same thing happens to me 😂 I've said he needs to record the dictionary so we can keep his voice forever
