Our gorgeous little ragdoll has been diagnosed with FIP-Wet form. He is only 7 months old and he is our whole world 💔 I have never cried so much in my life. Please can anyone share their experiences with treatment ? I’ve heard this is not the death sentence it once was but our vet is less positive. I really don’t want to loose him

How's he doing?

He’s had the fluid from his chest drained and is back to his old self, but we know this only for a short time before he deteriorates. Our vet referred us to a specialist who deals with this treatment, but the treatment is very new (only 1 year etc) and very very expensive between £8-£10k. We just wouldn’t be able to afford it, our heart is breaking I haven’t stopped crying since I found out

Yes our cat was diagnosed with wet FIP in February. He was successfully treated by our vets on GS-445124 tablets for 84 days. He was literally dying in front of our eyes. He picked up after 3 days of having tablets. It was expensive nearly £29 a tablet. Our insurance company reimbursed us the full cost of treatment. If you have insurance or can afford treatment please try. I bought 10 tablets at a time. Go through your vets. Don't buy any black Market drugs. You must go through your vets. If you need any advice message me.
Our cat just turned 4 years old. Our other cat is older and is fine. Our cat is now healthy

I had a cat with it 20 years ago when there was no treatment. He was a lovely 18 month old daft Balinese. It was dreadful watching him slowly deteriorate. I do hope your baby will be ok x
