Bald patch after flea treatment

I've just noticed a little bald patch about the size of an elongated 5 pence piece on my 1 year old cat. I can't see any cuts (looks very slightly rashy) she's been a little quieter than usual the last couple of days, but still eating and mostly ok. Could this be the spot on flea treatment I did 3 days ago?

Yes! My Russian Blue sometimes gets a bald spot after a few days. It grows back though

My dog got progressively more distressed by spot on flea treatment as years went on, it seemed to irritate her skin. Spoke to my vet about it and without question they just changed it to a tablet which she has NO reaction to and just gobbles up. They didnt seem at all surprised so i got the feeling it was fairly common.

I know spot on treatments have very potent ingredients (doing terrible things to our water table) but it's sooo difficult getting her to take a tablet, I will see if it happens again.

(And thank you! Was worried it could be something more serious but would be a bit of a coincidence otherwise)

Yes - some of my cats get this and some of them don't, maybe to do with the sort of fur they have? But it does grow back.

Yes, fairly common. Some cats also get pink skin for a short while.
