Collar

Can anyone recommend a collar that doesn’t go missing?? We have bought This one three times now! It stays for about a month and then he manages to dispose of it somewhere.

We didn’t used to put a collar on, but he’s a small cat and does a good job at convincing everyone in the neighbourhood that he is a stray. He also keeps killing baby birds.

Might be easier to shave "LOVED & FED" onto his side, tbh

At least when someone finds the collar, I get a phone call to recover it.

Buy a job lot of small bells and use paper collars?

@Kerfuffler I don’t think a paper one would last 5 min on him. He’s very skilled at getting them off…

Brilliant idea 😂😂 My parents used to tell their cat that, 'do not feed me' on his collar actually said 'very handsome cat' on it.
I'm the hope he wouldn't use it. The neighbours used to post his discarded collars through the door.

Collars are dangerous on cats, they can cause dreadful injuries or can even kill.
Sometimes they don't release as they should.
If he's getting them off they're either being caught on something, which could strangle him, or he's trying to get them off which could mean he gets his leg through and get stuck one day.
