Kitten proof gate/barrier

Hiya, in a couple of weeks we're picking up our new addition. I've been looking online to try and find a kitten proof door gate/barrier but just cannot find anything.

Can anyone recommend anything? As it's warm we'd like to have the back door open still but if we can't find anything we won't and will just go with it but thought I'd ask here as I just can't find a suitable product for a little kitten.

Thanks in advance!

Hi OP.

You can buy cat door screens. You could perhaps try one of those. Lots of companies do them. Flat Cats is a reputable brand.

I used this and stapled laminated pouches over it so the kittens couldn't wriggle through it and they were tricky to climb over. There did come a point when they could just vault it though 🙀

Thank you both! Will look into these 👍🏼

You literally can’t contain kittens. They can squeeze under tiny gaps and climb up so high.

I've ordered a door screen from flat cats - I know he'll climb it etc but at least he'll be safe 😂 thank you all x

That's great news. At least you can give it a go 😊

Yes, it'll be a nice (expensive) climbing frame for him and our other cat too no doubt 😂
