Moulting

Our kitties are now a year old and although they are both shorthairs they have just started moulting like mad in this weather.

Can anyone recommend a really good brush.

For our last cats we used a Furminator, but I found it caused as many problems as it solved, and we ended up with thick lumps of matted fur.

I have a grooming mitt
this type although not this actual one. He loves it. Purrs away whilst I get mountains of hair off him. It’s a lot more effective than I thought it would be.

Tangle teaser or a slicker brush.
