Cat hit by a car- tips for recovery

Morning,
I took my cat to the vets a few days ago, she wasn't herself and appeared uncomfortable.
She had to be sedated for them to examine her and I was shocked to find out that they think she has been hit by a car.
She has snapped her sternum in two places! She's back home on meds and not much else they can do.
She's eating and drinking, but mostly just lying down - she's seems so depressed.
I've been giving her her favourite foods and playing relaxing cat music.
Does anyone have any tips on how to cheer her up?
She's normally so active and feisty.
Feel so sorry for her. She has to stay in for at least two months now

Has she got good pain relief on board? I think we would also be pretty depressed if we'd been hit by a car.

You could try a Feliway plug in or Zylkene capsules.

Also, as she is eating, would a puzzle feeder give her something to do that is entertaining?

Thank you. Yes she has good pain relief on board, and eating/drinking. Just worrying about her getting bored too. What is a puzzler feeder?
I will try a feliway plug too

A puzzle feeder makes your cat work to get dry cat food or treats - like these:
