Flea treatment and worme

I've got kittens of 8 months, they've just started to go outside so need flea treatment and wormer. I've just seen spot on wormer instead of tablets and I'm so tempted after my last Dcat being a nightmare for trying to get tablets into.
Any recommendations? I think Avocat was recommended previously for fleas. Happy to buy online and administer.
The fun parts of cat ownership! 🤣

I believe you should have been worming and flea treating before this. My vet told me to worm every month until 6 months. I get both from the vets on monthly subscription

I get my treatments from the vet
Monthly flea treatment and 6 monthly wormer - both spot on treatments

I think I should have been, previous cat was indoor so we didn't flea treat as she didn't need it. I'd completely forgotten about worming. We haven't been to our vet here as they had their vaccinations at their rescue vets (took them back) I fully accept fault at that.

How do you get it on to your cats? Mine a sod. He can be fast asleep and I try and dab it on and all of a sudden tiger cat! I was thinking of giving up and trying pills instead cos he is greedy...

I use something called Nexgard combo. Fleas and worms. The only downside is it's a lot of liquid. Seems to be effective though.
