There has been a lot of sadness on the LT recently, with the loss of several old friends. So post a picture of your cats and your favourite story about them. Mine aren't very dynamic so don't actually get up to mischief, but do run up huge vets bills. Looking at you Magic!

RSPCA said very nicely when we chose him that he would be very nervous, not a lapcat and probably wouldn’t play. Now spends most days snoozing on my knee while I work, or running around after his Molly’s mice/toys. We adore him.

Miss Zara (my good girl) and Miss Bibi (my bad girl).

Zara is an Abyssinian cross who is 13 in October. She is adorable. Just pure sweetness. Not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed but hey, we can't all be a rocket scientist. Once managed to dislocate her ankle in a way the vet had only ever seen in dogs. That ankle now has a plate in, but it doesn't hamper her at all.

Bibi is the tuxedo. She's about 11, unsure as adopted her ten years ago. Her real name is Habibi, which is completely inappropriate. At the shelter she pretended to be the sweetest, most demure, mild-mannered little kitty who would never be the slightest trouble to anyone. This was an abject lie to get adopted. She is the most intelligent cat I have ever encountered, extremely bolshy, talktative, sassy, but also has a real affectionate side and likes a proper cuddle.
