bully cat

I have one beloved cat who is adored by his 5 humans.
I fear we have raised a spout beast though.

He likes to sleep in a human bed ideally flat on his back under a duvet head on human shoulder or pillow.
Last night I stayed up late to work on a deadline and he literally bullied me to go to bed ( I'm his preferred sleeping partner, I think he likes my silk pillow case) he nipped ankles and jumped at me, shouted and climbed over me. as soon as I got in to bed he was in purring then snoring.
He is also attempting to gain complete control over neighbourhood including children. Hates all other cats and goes out of his way to intimidate them ( never actually fights or touches them). He hit a neighbour's child (claws in ) yesterday when they stroked a rival cat as in the child's actual pet cat. So obviously he got squirted with water and came home in disgrace.
I am starting to get a bit embarrassed as he is thought of as this evil cat locally but rides around on my shoulder allows children to carry him and is very partial to a dolls pram. He fully engages with role play games in our street.
He also stole a sausage from someone's BBQ yesterday and his photo appeared on the local Facebook group as a wanted criminal. The shame, I appologised and sent wine.
I have had very firm words but he ignores me. He does understand what I say so it is rudeness on his part.
Anyone else have issues around behaviour?
How the hell do I stop the bedtime bullying?

If you stopped rebelling against your role as his slave then there wouldn't be a problem would there?

To stop nipping: pick him up and put him out the room, close the door, if safe go do so. Or keep a water spray handy.

I’m laughing so much. I just read out his antics to my husband and we are both cracking up. I do love a cat with a bit of personality. Don’t stop him. Embrace his hilarity 🐈‍⬛

I don't think it will be possible to give meaningful advice without a photo. Or several photos.

Tidsleytiddy · 29/05/2023 10:38

Oh yes. We need pics of the bully

BigShoutyRaven · 29/05/2023 10:46

I grew up next to a really nasty tomcat who would savage anyone and anything, loudly, and was a fat tube of evil muscle with torn ears.

He was also called Lucy and in the privacy of his own home used to ride around in pushchairs and wear dolls clothes and enjoy being held upsidedown and rocked like a baby.

I imagine if social media had been around in his day he would be chewing through Internet cables to try and stop the photographic evidence coming out

Your Master is gorgeous. Just stop fighting the power dynamics. It is so much easier.

Tidsleytiddy · 29/05/2023 13:20

He’s beautiful. Is he muscly? Do you live in SE London..? He looks a lot like a local cat…

Iamacatslave · 29/05/2023 13:25

Beautiful cat.

catbirddogchild · 29/05/2023 13:26

He is small and muscly but not in London. I am desperately hoping he is not recognised on here as I might be told of even more of his criminal behaviour 😳

My late Millie was known as the ASBO cat of the square., she would chase other cats into their own homes, attack them in front of their owners & steal their food.

We get herded and shouted at when we should go to bed. Our bully doesn't accept that the word 'no' applies to her. She sniffs her sisters butt to deliberately put her off eating. She lures me in to fuss her then fights me and purrs at the same time. When we ignore her she starts wrecking stuff. She fights every cat she sees..
Here she is in her least dangerous mode. Asleep.
She sleeps on my bed. I love her really.
