Cat with eye problem - dark spot on eyeball

Hi all,
My cat is booked to go to the vet tomorrow which I'm dreading as she's extremely nervous and it's a nightmare getting her into the carrier.
Although she seems really well in herself, I've noticed a raised brown spot on her eye, which doesn't look right. Last week, her eye was streaming but it cleared up within a day. Now I've noticed this spot which, given its location, must be hindering her eyesight.
Anyone any clue what this could be? I'm so worried for her. Photo included.

No idea but could be the start of an ulcer? Definitely a vet check job!

I don’t know either but that is one pretty cat. I hope the vet can sort it out for her.

Thank you - of my three cats, she's the one who's 'mine.' I found her by the roadside when she was approx 4 weeks old and raised her. She is my baby!
