New kitten!

Just unexpectedly come into a kitten! He was part of a rescue litter (a friend of a friend took in a pregnant stray). The home he was meant to be going to couldn't take him so he's mine now!

Congratulations on your beautiful kitten. I acquired a feisty all black one last year. My son brought her over and said can you have this kitten? Well of course he knew I'd fall in love immediately if I saw her. She belonged to a neighbour who didn't bother to get her cat neutered and didn't know what to do with the kittens. DS found good homes for all of them.

My big cat isn't overly impressed but he's only been here for a couple of hours. I'd forgotten how sharp kitten nails are!

He's in kitten jail for now while i have a shower and some tea.
