My cat is a hunter. As in every day. I didn't realise it would be this regular that she would bring something back. I say back but she gets them from the numerous trees with have in the garden. Yesterday she got hold of a newborn bird. The bird was alive and I did all I could to save it and put it as far up in a little hand made nest as I could but I'm dreading checking it this morning. I feel guilty for getting a cat when I have so many trees in my garden. Is there any way, I can deter her other than keeping her in or building a catio (which I can't afford at moment)? She likes going out but it's ridiculous the amount she brings in and I can't bear to see babies like that.
