No pics from me, as very hard to get a decent shot of a black cat at the very back of a deep wardrobe lying on dark cloth! And just showing a bit of a lump under the duvet won't tell you much. Tabby on a brown floral patterned duvet cover is more camouflaged than hiding, but Tobias is allergic to cameras & immediately dives into the very back of his large black igloo at the sight of me lining him up with my phone.

TBH black cats curled up on a chocolate brown fleece can be pretty well camouflaged as well.

Dilbertian · 20/05/2023 10:35

Does camouflage count?

(You'll understand, of course, why it was totally out of the question to make the bed.)

LostCats · 20/05/2023 11:01

Ooh Dilbertian! That’s a good one

FlyingFlamingo · 20/05/2023 11:15

Yours are more successful than my two. They both hide behind tufts of grass as well

The loud purring coming from the blanket/clean washing is always a giveaway

I don’t know how to link, but if you look at ‘cache cache’ / Parole des chats on you tube you will be delighted.

She’s so naughty. Gets in there through a gap on top of the unit. She knows when she’s somewhere she shouldn’t be because she makes the weirdest meows.

I can’t see you which means you can’t see me

@ThisIsMyKitty I think that’s what mine think ‘my head is hidden so the rest of me must be?’ Grin

@Allthegoodnamesarechosen check out ‘why you should have a cat’ on Twitter as well for more daft kitties

TBH MrCat isn't really into hiding. I set up lots of cosy boxes and tents for him when he arrived, but, in true fickle feline form, he disdained the lot.

This is pretty much the only time I've seen him even trying.

My little woman loves a bag or big envelope. She also frequently gets inside the duvet cover.

Hide? Why hide when there are loads of lovely hooman chairs to sit on?

Defiantlynot41 · 20/05/2023 13:42

One of her favourite places

learieonthewildmoor · 21/05/2023 04:55

Cat One loves bags. He’s usually pretty obvious. But there was one time he was definitely hidden.

Mia184 · 21/05/2023 08:42

Micky loves paper bags 😃

When I first got the late Maia, she hid fir a week in a gap in the kitchen units that I had no idea even existed!

Toddlerteaplease · 21/05/2023 12:01

Cheddar hiding Magic so she doesn't have to go to the vet. Nice try girls!

Very nicely hidden to watch the birds.

No idea why that has been flagged as a sensitive image - it’s a white cat in her useless “hidey hole” under some bushes.

There’s a sensitive image button that appears before adding photos. You probably clicked it by mistake. I did that once
