Separate feeding

We have a brother sister pair of 9month old kittens we rescued 3months ago, they are BRILLIANT

but, boykitten is….rotund. Girlkitten is the smallest little thing. I worry she’s a little underweight but the main thing is I think she’s more of a grazer and he wolfs down and needs set mealtimes. They’re currently fed 2 wet food pouches between them each morning and evening and have access to dry food throughout the day

any thoughts on how we can do seperate feeding which would mean girlkitten has constant access so she can eat when she needs to but we can control boykitten’s food intake?

We have the same issue with our girl kittens. Something that seems to be working for us at the moment is to have reduced the amount of wet food we put down in one go. Over a couple of days I paid attention to how much the grazing cat ate in one go (half the amount we were putting down). So we now only put that amount down at each sitting. Greedy cat then can’t scoff her sister’s!

If that hadn’t worked then the next step was a microchip feeder bowl but they are so expensive :(
