We are fostering this lovely girl. Apart from the fact she is full of kittens she is absolutely tiny.

She is a gorgeous, very friendly Calico. Any name suggestions. We are not getting very far here as suggestions from teenage sons are utterly ridiculous but they don't like my suggestions (Cleo, Petal, Purdy, Margot)

Any suggestions? Ideally something quite girly but a bit quirky.

Oh bless her, that's quite the load she's hauling around on her little frame isn't it. Jemima is nice.

Panda or Pandy because of the panda eyes.

Ellmau · 13/05/2023 11:36

Ooh!

Pandora.

It plays on the 'panda' idea, plus she is currently full of kittens and when they are all born and creating havoc she will still embody hope for the future of loving new homes for all of them.

She looks camouflaged, so how about Camo, Cami or even Camilla (😹)?

I thought there was 'bizarre' camouflage, so Zara or Bizzy - but I googled it & it's 'dazzle', which is quite a sweet name anyway.

She's utterly gorgeous, btw.😻

A little random but - jigsaw.

We had a similar looking Guinea pig and wanted to call her Jigsaw but we went for Puzzle instead - it suits this pretty kitty

OP pls update when she delivers.

TwigTheWonderKid · 15/05/2023 09:37

Three kittens so far! First one is b&w, second one all black and, judging from its big paws, probably a boy. Ginger one was born just over an hour ago. Mummy is fast asleep and snoring 😊

Aw well done to her and you! Excuse my ignorance on the matter but how do you know when she's finished?

😍 Well done OP, what a lovely thing you are doing for them all. Hope all continues to go well. You're going to need even more name suggestions now 😂

Harebrain · 15/05/2023 11:06

I’d call her Calico and Cally for short. She’s super cute!

ifIwerenotanandroid · 15/05/2023 14:44

Aw, bless her!

Treasureboxkey · 15/05/2023 14:53

Oh love her, did she end up with a name or are you still deciding?

I think I would call her Arietty ( like the borrower) because she is so tiny and is borrowing you while she has her babies ❤️.

GuppytheCat · 15/05/2023 15:06

Didn't she come with a 'rescue name' then?

I'd give her a name that lends itself to a theme for the kittens (and given my low success rate in sexing newborn kittens, I'd keep the names nice and gender-neutral). So she could be Cookie, and the kittens Choc, Chip, Peanut and Ginger, for instance; or Sorbet, and call the kittens ice cream flavours.
