It's a "not my cat" one.

The people opposite have 2 un neutered toms. Both are allowed to wander at all times (including over a busy road to get to our house - ours aren't allowed out the front).

These toms are constantly in our garden and spray everywhere. My 2 aren't too bothered by one of them (tabby), but they have a big black cat that they both hate. Both mine are fixed.

We've been quite live and let live with it, but tabby has just followed my boy cat through the microchip cat flap. Luckily we were up and heard boy cats very pathetic hiss and he was promptly chased out. Last night the black cat and tabby cat had a massive screaming tear up outside our back door.

The neighbours aren't nice people, at all. Frequent police visits, litter, asb, you name it. The people who love next door to them says their house just stinks of cat wee and weed. They are aggressive and to be honest I don't want to start something with them.

Hive mind, is there anything I can do to stop these guys coming in and annoying my 2? On a separate note, the tabby looks like he has a gash on his face, would the RSPCA do anything?

The typical suggestion would be a water pistol if you see the 2 from over the road often enough.

How do you stop your 2 getting over the fence to the front of the house? Can you do similar to stop these 2 getting in?

They get in via our neighbours who are end of terrace and jump the fences. My boy cat is too lazy / thick to have figured out this system and stays in our garden, girl cats patch is the opposite direction with no way to the road.

We have a piddly water pistol but will invest in a super soaker!

We're going away next month and now I'm panicking that this tabby will come in again while we're gone and cause mayhem.

Microchip cat flap to stop their cats getting in.

We have one. The tabby followed my boy cat in quickly before it locked.

un-neutered toms don’t live long, they get killed on the road chasing girl cats.

I would ring the rspca about the gash on the face anyway.

Yeah I'm going to today. A neighbour told me they lost another tom like that @FormerlyPathologicallyHappy

Update - my boy now has a cut on his face 😭

There's no way I can ask 3 other neighbours before ours to cat proof their fences so I'm at a bit of a loss, and feel quite sorry for them too.

Going to spray buckets of enzyme stuff everywhere when the rain stops.
