New kitten runny poo

Charming thread title, sorry!

We have brought home two 8 week kittens: beautiful brothers born to a mum whose owner thought she was a boy until they discovered she was pregnant...

Both are settling in so well: they're playing, sleeping, eating and drinking. Still on go cat kitten food while they're adjusting to their new home but only because that's what they were having before we brought them home. I'm aware it's not a great food for them and will be changing over gradually.

However, one of them has had runny poo since his first day here on Monday. He's happy in himself, super energetic and eating plenty but a bit of googling suggests this isn't a good thing.

They're booked in for their checkup and first vaccinations at the vet on Tuesday but do I need to try to get an urgent appointment for the one with the runny poo sooner than that?

TL,DR: 8 week old kitten has runny poo but seems otherwise well. Do I assume it's stress from settling in a new home or do I get urgent vet attention?

Thanks.

Could you phone the vet and see if they think it requires a vet visit?

That's a good idea: I can do that tomorrow morning if he's still the same. Thanks.

I would phone the vets too. Ours was sick 3 times and a bit sleepy. We have to take him to emergency vet as it was Sunday cost us over £100.... nothing wrong with him.

I think they might tell you to bring them in, they told us they can go down hill very quickly when young so it's better to check
