Really, any advice appreciated !
15 year old cat had his ear flap removed a year ago due to skin cancer
He's started scratching it. Vet thinks cancer might be back...not really operable as won't get it all and with his age. So putting that aside...
He just won't stop. Tried steroids, antibiotics (it was infected at one stage), keeping him in with a cone. He scratches through the lot. To the ear cartilage... bloodbath
Don't want to keep him in if possible, he loves his outdoor life.
But don't know what else to do
Vet's talking palliative care. I just want him to enjoy however long he has left as long as he's able and not in pain
Any suggestions, please? Thanks
