Help with wound and cone please!

My cat has an injury (deep cut) to her back leg, we've been to the vet twice and they advised better not to stitch it and gave antibiotics and pain medication. She's been wearing a cone but seems to have figured out how to contort to be able to lick/chew the wound and opened it up again tonight. She won't let us bandage it and I'm worried it won't heal if she can still reach it with the cone on. Any advice about a better cone I can get (she has plastic one from the vet but it seems to fit ok around the neck and comes out far enough past her face) or do I need to go back to the vet asap before the next check up? But even if they stitch it if she can still lick/chew it that won't help. Any advice very welcome please. Thank you

I know a friend with a dog. Was advised to put them in a baby grow/baby vest.
Would that be an option? I guess it depends how big your cat is though, might have to get tiny baby size.

The vet advised that btw.

A vest won't help with a leg wound

Maybe a different style of cone might help. You get inflatable ones too I think

A baby grow would & that was included in the options I suggested 🙄
