New cat not eating much

Hi all,

We adopted a cat just over a week ago, she was outgoing from the start so no issues with her being nervous, she had full vet check before she left CP and runs around like a lunatic so not worried about anything physical. She was given a variety of brands in rescue as it was all donation based so I think she's being fussy. She's only just under 3kg at 2 years old anyway. I've been putting dry food down all day for her to eat and giving her a wet pouch in the evening. She's definitely got an appetite as she always wants my food but won't eat her own. I've tried warming it up etc but nothing. I don't want to keep changing foods as 1. We've only just got over soft poo due to change already and 2. She might not like the next one we try either. Obviously she's not going out for another couple weeks so she may work up an appetite then but I'm concerned because at the moment she seems to be eating less than 100g a day and she apparently should be on at least 160g a day. Help. Ty

Just to say, I'm not giving her my food as I don't want her just wanting to eat human food but that doesn't stop her from coming up to me and trying lol

We adopted a gorgeous cat from the Cat Protection,we already had one from them,he was a stray. This one was half Persian, the loveliest natured cat I ever owned, divorce and homelessness, came with a heartbreaking letter. Seemed perfectly happy, but wouldn't eat. Went on for 3 weeks. We hand fed her, while we were eating at the table, bits of fish/chicken. Smeared tuna in oil on her face, which she licked off. That's what they told us to do. We had her 12 wonderful years. A friend adopted a cat from them Easter, similar thing, she was throwing up after being collected in the car,was fine after a couple of weeks. Hope this helps.
