Hairballs

Hello everyone.
Sorry, not a particularly pleasant subject but just thought I'd share this about my ragdoll cat.

We brush her every day due to her long hair but 2-3 times a week, she chucks up a hairball, usually about 4am. The noise she makes is something else and wakes me and my family from the deepest of sleep.

We've tried different food and pastes but nothing works. Then I read that cats can do this when their stomachs are empty so we've changed her meal times, moving her tea from 6pm to 9pm (she has breakfast about 6am and 'lunch' between 2pm - 4pm, depending who's home)

Anyway, she hasn't had a hairball for nearly 3 weeks 🥳. The difference in our sleep is so much better as waking up abruptly at some ungodly hour 2 - 3 times a week, was taking its toll - I've done the baby and toddler stage and it's not pleasant!.
Maybe this might help someone in the same boat 🙃.
