Elderly cat with watery eye

Our Mol is 15, she’s doing ok, eating and drinking well but has a persistent watery eye. It’s not infected and she doesn’t rub it. It’s just watery. Vet gave me drops which I think were a saline but theve not really helped.

any tips to help her?

Put either a green tea teabag or chamomile teabags into boiling water in a clean bowl and cool it. Then use a cotton pad and bath eye 3 times a day for a few days. I paid my vet to tell me this!!

Have a good look at the hair around it ( if she lets you )
Could hair be growing towards the eye and irritating it ?
