Anyone else have one of these and at the end of their tether?
I've got the duel scan one with the hub and over the last two weeks, it's been off more times than on.
I'm getting totally fed up with it. Their customer service is only open for short hours so no help there.
At the moment the hub has got solid red ears.
What's other people's experience with these? Although the product in principal is good, the actual using of it is shockingly bad.
If you're thinking of getting one, don't!

We had issues with the original one and they replaced it with no issue, try emailing them?

Our microchip sureflap cat flap is brilliant. Can't fault it. Survived years at the old house, and put a new one in the new house. It asks for new batteries way before they are needed tho.

Wouldn’t be without mine. I remember having issues at the start but then got a mesh wifi extending thing and now it works fabulously.

helpfulperson · 28/04/2023 20:05

it goes through phases of red ears but it is a fair distance away from my cat flap so I'm not surprised. Can you move it so it is closer?

sarahh96 · 28/04/2023 20:21

@helpfulperson thanks. It is near the cat flap and is plugged into a WiFi booster as well. It's great when it works but, over the last two weeks it's been so intermittent I've lost faith in it now. 🥲

Had 3 original, great, tho my new cat took a while to get used to it, love em

Ours works really well. Had a problem at initial set up and they responded to email in about a week and then once we had an email dialogue much more quickly. Soon resolved and never had a problem or red ears.

Hello. Following as we need a new catflap because ours let's any feline in. Do we need the chip number to buy a cat flap that will work with D Cat's chip,or will a Sureflap work for her chip regardless? TIA xx

I don’t recall needing to know the chip number to set ours up.
