Why does he do this!

Boy cats favourite thing is to lie round my neck (normally about 2am!) And knead my neck. It's pretty sore at times and if I try and block him he just squeezes his paws under my hand/arm to get to me. Recently though when he can't manage he has the tiniest little bite at my hand. There's no aggression and it doesn't hurt at all. It's like he's just placing his teeth on me. What's he up to!?

He's just sending you a message that you're not doing what he wants you to do.

Cheddar does this. But she drools rather than bites. And makes biscuits on my face. She is incapable of sitting still. It's sweet but annoying as she fully wakes me up!

Oh Gilbert is a drooler as well!!

Asked my cat and it means pet me more, pet me less, feed me, what do you taste like, play with me, stop playing with me, I feel like it, get up, just checking you're alive don't follow me.
