Sisters need names

For once I’m stumped. Need names for these two sisters who came home with me today.
Need the wit of MN to help me name them

Those were our two kittens when I was a child, and they were stripy sisters with very similar colouring.
When we picked my brother up at the train station after his first term at uni, he had nothing but a cardboard box with two 4 month old kittens in it. They had been adopted and then just abandoned by some awful undergraduate who lived in my brother's residence hall. My brother didn't know what to do so he put them in a box and brought them to our parents, who didn't bat an eyelid. We had them for 22 and 24 years- best cats ever.

We have a pair of sisters and the don’t have pair names just 2 feline like girls names, it took us (me and my 2 teenage DD) a day of discussion to name them.
So my vote goes to Cleo and Tilly.
Although I think Salt and Pepper is great too

I always worry about giving them "and" names in case one of them dies and you're left with a Boop or a Salt or a Shirley and every time you have to say that Betty/Peppa/Pepsi died.

I agree I’m not sure I could go for names that need to go together.
Olive, Sage, Tilly, Poppy are some early front runners…

Juno and Minerva (Minnie for short whilst a kitten).
Theyre cute but very serious and I think will be quite majestic so goddess names seem appropriate
