Urgent - kitten crying 🐈

I have a new kitten, 10 weeks, the plan was to keep him in a large pen overnight with his bed, blanket, toys etc but he just cries and cries! I feel so bad so I've brought him upstairs to sleep with me but he's just running around, knocking things over etc! What do I do?? 🙀

Is it too late to introduce a new kitten?

We introduced a tiny kitten to our 1 year old cat and they bonded. 13 years on they sleep together all day and allogroom.

We've introduced kittens to all ages of cats, it's always been fine. Younger cats will play once they've got over the horrors of a new kitten, and our older cats have always just sat on kittens till they behave!

Oh, and Cookie is gorgeous :)
