Rescue cat being sick

We have a 10 -12 year old female cat who was living in a hoarding house with many cats, rescued 6 months ago, first adoption didn't work out, and we've had her 7 weeks now. She is a healthy weight now. She eats very very fast, which I guess is understandable as she must be used to fighting for food. Problem is she is often sick. We give her a wet food pouch in thirds (she doesn't know when she's full), twice a day, and some chopped chicken late evening. Yesterday she ate a few dry biscuits and was immediately sick, but it was just clear liquid and one biscuit. Obviously we'll take her to the vet if it continues, but I thought idask if anyone has similar experience or specific advice. (She's recently been to the vet for a dental a they didn't say anything.)

If she is gobbling her food too fast that could cause the sickness. You could try one of the mats to slow down eating.

I often throw cat biscuits to TempCat like a game so he has to run after them. Takes ages for him to eat a normal portion and he gets some exercise as well (indoor cat).

Or she may be allergic to chicken - some cats are. Worth trying a different food.

Otherwise yes a trip to the vet.

Could also try a raised bowl. That really helped one of mine.
