Seems to be the most unreliable chip company of them all. A few years ago they used batches of chips that never worked.

Then this. I haven't needed to use it since 2018 so have only just found out about this latest balls up.

Very old news - the upgraded just before the Easter weekend in 2021leaving rescues and vets without valid logins over the Easter weekend.
You just need reactivate your account and your chips will get linked to it.

There are far worse databases that don't give vets logins and when we have an injured pet we have to email and they 'hope' to answer within 24 hours. The main culprit is linked to fertility units that have no vet or RVN working in them.

I know it's old news, however there are people who didn't know, including me. I did know about the older issue of non-working chips because I had PetLog at the time.
There will be people that haven't seen it for various reasons and it might affect them if their pet goes missing.

I checked my Petlog account and it shows me as the owner of my Mum's cat, George. Mum died 5.5 years ago and George moved in with her neighbour and I'm sure we sorted out the transfer of ownership then. I'm no longer in touch with her neighbours and I don't know if George is still around, he'd be 15 now, so I'm not sure what to do. The only options I have are to say he's deceased, report him missing or to transfer ownership.
