CatCams and alternatives?

I am looking for a discreet, reliable indoor camera and wondering which are the best up to date options if anyone could help please?

Not 'discreet' as such, but I have this and it's excellent. Great night vision, stores locally on an SD, you can save off videos, access from your phone. I've actually had mine about 3 years and it's going strong.

It looks as if the newer ones aren't so good, from reviews. Forced subscription is mentioned too, and bad sound quality.
Is yours like that?
