Cat weeing in the bedroom

I have 2 cats, and recently installed a new cat flap that cat 1 doesn't like. It makes a clicking sound that scares her so I have put a litter tray down as well. Anyway she keeps doing her business upstairs. First I had to close the door to our daughters room. Now she has started doing it in our bedroom. Should I start closing her out of here? She spends 99% of the day in the bedroom as our other cat has dominated the rest of the house. I'm afraid she won't have anywhere to go but I have to stop this toilet behaviour. I have no idea what to do! Already cleaning up after my 2 DDs and now the cat too 😭😭

Hello OP,

It sounds from what you says that your cats don't get on, especially if she's spending most of her time hidden away upstairs and then using the bedroom to go to the toilet. Is her litter tray in a part of the house that she doesn't like using? Is she generally a nervous cat? If your other cat 'dominates' the rest of your house she may not feel safe toileting where the litter tray may currently be...
