He's had 10 teeth removed, and only has 6 left. He is unimpressed that I have nicknamed him gummy bear.

I think he's about 12. Hrs the same age as Magic I believe. He's half BSH and half Scottish fold. And yes he's very handsome. And very soppy.

@anythinginapinch does he manage dry food ok. Mithril is not keen on wet.

Could you add a bit of water to his hard food so it softens a bit? Our vet told us to do that at one point

Gorgeous boy! Hope he feels better soon. My vet says that one of the reasons my Annie is still going so strong at almost 20 is that she had pretty much all her teeth out a few years ago and doesn't get infections any more. Nor has it slowed her eating down in any way whatsoever - still plump and fairly glossy!

Favourite Cat (R.I.P.) had lots of teeth out, and Vixen only has one fang. Both still ate/eat lots of dry food with no issue.

I'm sure your handsome boy will be crunching away in no time. I think their guns harden so it shouldn't stop him. However I feel we need lots more pictures in order to properly give support 🐱

Aw. We had a cat called Mithril as well, she was a beautiful grey cat and an excellent hunter.

@Chocolateydrink he's not a good hunter, my parents had an issue with mice a while back. He was no help whatsoever.
