… and has knocked it off the bench three times now. He also hates the fish food. It might just be he likes the kitchen bench to be tidy.
That’s him looking sad, but he totally doesn’t care that I have no more glass storage jars.

Are you sure he didn’t just want a snack? We have to keep lollies locked up tight. They are the second most coveted human food in the house by our food obsessed cat, right behind butter.

No, when he wants a snack he goes into the laundry and knocks something off the bench there.

@Ponderingwindow My girl loves lollies too, her favourites are the swizzle double lollies - she throws them around like nobody's business 🤣 - I have to take them and hide them at night as she makes an almighty racket!

@learieonthewildmoor that's the face of an innocent angel who wouldn't possibly break your jars 🤣

Oh that is just the saddest look. Poor hard done by neglected kitty.

Dragonsandcats · 09/03/2023 22:26

Poor kitty you've made him feel so sad!!

learieonthewildmoor · 10/03/2023 04:19

That looks like a sad face, but it is really the face of contentment and confidence in his rule. See the little shelf above the microwave? We had to put that up because he would knock everything off to make room to sit.

Never seen a cat so sad. That’s one expressive face.

Gorgeous photo. Just a word of warning, make sure nothing is blocking your microwave vents when you use it, otherwise it's likely to become an expensive useless storage box. But, on the plus side you'd have a safe place to keep your glass jars.
